Hey Boys, good to see that you are making headway on the trek. Met you in Lorne, on the Great Ocean Road, just before you started. Was with my wife on white BMW R100GS. Keep those wheels turning and keep a sense of humor!! Have fun. Hein and Corene
hey simon,
Hi Simon,
yo man, i've slowed dramatically since we seperated in otavala. but i'm doing well, still in equador. in banos now, but planning on going to cuenca soon cause i heard there's rock climbing to be had there. i wanted to look you up, because i have a bike question. what was the problem when your speedo and mileage tracker stopped working... because you've guessed it... mine just stopped too! i thin it has to be related to the fact i just changed tires, and when they got swapped they dudes really lubed everything up, so it leads me to believe something is just not catching. let me know what's the crack, and where you are, and if you've made it to bolivia, i hear it's been flooded there.
Dude, so peeved to hear about your laptop being nicked... time to get the local mafia out of the street and go to town... that info is worth the risk. Feeling your pain.
Hey guys, just had a look at your page for the first time since we met in Adelaide river. What you've been doing is absolutley amazing.
My name is Humberto Suarez, and I want to help your project. I have a motorcycle magazine on line called www.motomdz.com.ar
Hello Guys !!!!! how was your way to Cancun ? Did you find your brake lever??? I would like to put some pictures of you and talk a little bit of your project in a local magazine, I hope that's o.k. with you, and I also hope you could load some pictures of you in our country. I am one of the girls that saw you at the Kawasaki dealer.
Hi Todd,
and would like to meet you and buy you a meal if you come through here. I see that you're in La Paz now. When you get to Matzalan you want to take the road to Durango (La Espina de Diablo) one of the great motorcycle roads in the world. From there we're about 200 miles south in a beautiful old colonial town. Our club MotoClassico meets every Wed night at 5PM. The phone 3 below is a Vonage internet phone with a # from Atlanta GA. If you can't make it good luck on your venture. I'll make a donation later.

Hi there,
todd a moose, hope your both fit a well. todd we think of you constantly and wory about you on this big adventure.
Hello Simon and Todd!I found your homepage!
Having some stranger put their finger inside you is not my idea of fun. I had been putting a digital rectal exam of for years, but while enlisting to work for a mining company I found myself back in a doctor's surgery and my mind wandered between the hearing test and the chest exam. I thought of Moose riding around the world to raise awareness for prostate cancer. So I said to the doc "do you mind if I make an appointment to get a DRE?" He just smiled, asked if there was a family history, put on some gloves and told me to lie on my side. It was all over pretty quickly and it was not as horrible as I thought it would be. Suffice to say that the peace of mind is better than the sensation in the surgery. The best thing to do with cancer is to catch it early - I'm glad I got the test done - and frankly, I might still have that on my to do list had I not thought of a couple of guys riding around this planet to raise funds for research.

Hi Simon, as you know the purpose of your trip is very close to my heart. My dad was diagnosed a fair few years ago now and thanks to people like you - raising awareness and money - he's still alive (and kicking!). Over the years he's been part of various trials with his local cancer research unit and he's lived a full, happy and active life for most of the time but recently he found out that his current treatment is ceasing to work. We're hoping to get him on another trial to keep it at bay, but all research and trials need funding.
Good Luck for the trip ahead - just think about karma points.. they go along way! If you need any advice about south east asia. russia or mongolia - i just returned from a ten month trip through these countries alone. if you end up changing you route and come through brisbane i can offer a bed and a hot shower!
We'll be promoting your tour on our website, also launching in March, www.canadianpowersportsgroup.com. It's a social networking/news/ reviews site. Our Canadian Members will be interested in knowing when you anticipate hitting Canada. I know they'd love to show their support. Perhaps you'd be interested in posting your event or trip journal there. We might even have our Road Trip Planner running by then so you can log in where you are at. Good Luck!
Hi Simon.. great meeting you at expo... fantastic thing you are both doing.. i have emailed the link to your website to all my friends and tole them to subscribe!

I live in Qingdao Huangdao China. My friend Brenden Houlihan of New Zealand told me about you guys. I don't get excited about health care, die when the time comes OK by me but love bike riding. If you can make it here, I'll set you up with a cheeseburger.

It's good to see some young fellas doing something positive for the community in a time when everyone seems to be getting more and more selfish. Good on you guys I'll pass the website details to all of the boys at work.
As Farnsy said 'your the voice' big fella! Good luck and if I can help,...just ask. By the way, I'm justb watching Euan McGregor and Charlie Boorman and you will put them to shame. They were travelling like millionaires!!! Go you good thing!!
From a peron who has been touched by Prostrate cancer in numerous ways, Im proud of what you are about to do. My family and I will watch with great interest and encouragement. You will be missed but the cause is stronger by people like you being there.
