The publicity train has left the proverbial station, and things are really rolling now. The departure date is set for April 1st 2009, and there is still a lot of work to do.

The focus of the campaign is Awareness. I am looking to regional prostate cancer support groups, cancer organisations and research groups to get behind me and use the RideRightRound as a tool to drive awareness in their local area. As I go from place to place, I give the local community a reason to talk about prostate cancer.

I am putting together a 'road show' with a presentation on the RideRightRound project and prostate cancer in general which I will be able to deliver en route, but I need the support of locals to get bums on seats to see it, and to take advantage of the opportunity to engage the community in the name of cancer support.On the home front, I am working hard to engage media in the project. Q Radio will have an interview with yours truly chatting about the trip, so if you are flying QANTAS after September 2008, flick through the channels and you will catch my 'radio voice'.
