I have to admit that I never really knew anything about Belize before coming here, but the history, full of Carribeans and Engish Pirates makes for an amazing place. A bit of the Carribean on the Mainland where (almost) everyone speaks English. Not expected at all.

The relaxed atmosphere began at the border, when getting my passport stamped in immigration the border guard asked me to have a rum punch for him. Deal.

Karen and I took a sailing and snorkelling trip on the worlds second largest barrier reef for Christmas - my present - not getting too sunburned!
